Over the past few years, I've gotten into a few vituperative arguments about clients' bios. Some have been just a few short paragraphs with their credentials. Others, long tomes that honestly, no one is going to read. But the ones with long bios always want to keep everything in there.
Okay.
For me, this is a challenge. Because I know that for some lawyers, for example, including things like cases they've won, areas of specialty, publications, event talks and so on, are important. I never want to overlook the importance of that content and I certainly don't want to dismiss their experience.
But while I argue that it's better to keep things short and to the point, they always push back. "I need to have all of that in there. Please keep it in." Oh my, if I had a dollar for every time I've heard that...
So in this video, I'll show you one way of keeping all that juicy information in there. Without looking dreadfully long. In fact, this makes the visitor WANT to click 'n read. Now isn't that something we all want?
Check it out.
See? There are ways of keeping it all in there and even making people want to read it.
And I also have another video with another option for keeping all that information in your bio, so please take a look at that one.
