I recently completed the new website for the Badon Tennis Academy, located in Altadena, California. If you’ve never heard of Altadena, it’s a beautiful little secret in the Los Angeles area. Located right next to its world-famous neighbor, Pasadena, Altadena is a lovely community and quiet neighborhood of beautiful houses, parks, rolling hills, and more. I live in Altadena! But I digress.

The Badon Tennis Academy was founded by Veronica Badon nearly 20 years ago. Veronica and her associate coach Gerald Sawyer teach kids and adults of all levels, and they offer a range of classes as well as one-on-one instruction. Located in Loma Alta Park, they teach mostly residents in the area but there are a significant number of players and students from other parts of Los Angeles who seek them out for instruction and coaching.

Earlier this year, Veronica approached me about redesigning the BTA website. She was frustrated because she didn’t like the appearance of the site, that the site wasn’t helping her promote her business, nor was it set up to allow students to book and pay for classes. I took a close look at what she had, her goals, and what she needed the site to do for the BTA so that she and her team could focus less on administrative tasks and more on helping students improve their tennis.

The new Badon Tennis Academy site is a WordPress site. It includes WooCommerce, Square and was built using the Divi Theme from Elegant Themes.
